Here are the lower shock brackets drilled and shaped. I´ll still add a few pieces to them to make ´em a little stronger, just to be sure.

 I also made the upper shock brackets today:

I tagged the bracket and bolted the lower bracket in place to check if everything works..

When the suspension is at its lowest point, the shock comes near the frame. I may need to do something about that..

 

I started the front shock mounts. I think this is the best option to relocate the shock:

I had to make a little notch in frame to make room for the shock body.

I cut a piece of steel plate to mount the shock at the bottom:

The plate will bolt on the original shock mount in the lower control arm. I´ll have to drill some holes, add some reinforcement and shape it a little.
The shock temporarily in place:

  Here You can also see the opened up spring pocket . Now I need to make the upper bracket...

I´ve been doing some "little" things that needed to be done..
I modified the exhaust, here´s a couple of pictures:

I wasted like 3-4 hours with the first one and did the other in 40 minutes :/
I also opened the spring pockets in the front to make sure the air bags won´t hit the frame.

I was thinking about welding a ring made of a round bar to give the frame more strength. Overkill..? Well I´m doing it anyway :D

Trouble!!!
I got the new windshield back from the shop. BUT it was supposed to be tinted green and it does not fit that  good :(

Looks good from a distance but the corners...

I´ll have to grind those off :(
I also tried to find some place for the front shocks. Not easy...

Here I should remove a part of the frame near the spring pocket and I´m not sure if the shock would still fit :/  The length of the shock is 42 cm.

And  the exhaust... I need to modify it to get more room for the tires and the airbags.

And the summer is coming fast :o

Now I´m working with the front bags...
First I removed the coil spring and took some measurements.

Here are the parts for the cup and lower control arm attachment:

I´m going to bolt the cup through the hole for the original shock.

And heres the lower plate:

Next I´m going  to weld the lower bag plate to the lower control arm plate, but I still need to cut some more tubing to fill a small gap between them ;)
And then I need to figure out where to put the shocks... :/

I´ve been working with the air suspension wiring. Now it´s almost finished,  I just need to connect the valves to the control box and the + and - wires to the cars system.
